The Iowa Rock n’ Roll Music Association is joining with a local non-profit organization to bring you Music and Art at Oleson Park. This is an all day, free event, aimed at offering entertainment for the entire family. The show will be held on July 11th at Oleson Park, from 11 am to 10:00 pm. Tom Bethke, one of the organizers of the event said they plan to feature up to 12 different bands or music groups.

Included in the line-up are Phil Humphrey, (from the Fenderman); The Fortes; H & K featuring Kirk Kaufman; New Covenant Praise Band, Help, James Freeman of the Five Satins; Brandon Scott Sellner; Ecclesiastes; Tom Alan; and Kathryn Dillion, with a tribute to Janis Joplin.

“There will be a variety of music, including Christian, blues, rock n‚ roll, and a little country,” said Bethke. He added that there will also be a magician strolling among the crowd during the show. He said there will also be a revival of art in the park on a smaller scale- in hopes of building it up in years to come. There will be concessions throughout the day as well.
